These Terms apply to new projects. Orders placed under earlier agreements keep the terms agreed at the time.

BookGhost Publishing was founded by Aarush Sharma (Founder & AI Workflow Lead), who developed its business idea, website and book-creation workflow. Customer agreements, payments and refunds are the responsibility of Sudhir Sharma, an adult and the Razorpay merchant for BookGhost Publishing. Contact: bookghost.support@gmail.com. Services

AI-generated drafting, AI-assisted editing and human-directed review. You approve the outline and writing style before drafting begins. Final deliverables (PDF, editable DOCX, EPUB and JPG cover) are released after full payment. Package details are on the Packages page.

Packages & scope

Project scope, delivery milestones and the final payable total are agreed in your written proposal. Word limits, revision rounds and cover redesign allowances are as stated on the Packages page. Extra length beyond the included word limit is quoted separately and needs your approval before work starts.

Your inputs

You warrant that the material you supply is yours to use and is not unlawful, defamatory or infringing. We may decline or stop projects involving illegal, hateful or abusive content.

Ownership

We make no claim of ownership over your book. To the extent we hold any rights in the delivered files, we assign them to you on full payment. Copyright treatment of AI-generated content varies by jurisdiction and is not guaranteed.

AI disclosure

GPT/ChatGPT and Claude are used for manuscript drafting and AI-assisted editing, and Gemini for cover artwork, with human-directed review. Later human editing does not automatically turn AI-generated content into AI-assisted content. Amazon KDP requires you to disclose AI-generated text and images when you publish. We tell you which parts used AI.

Accuracy & professional content

You are responsible for verifying facts. Content on medical, legal or financial topics is not professional advice.

Originality

We do not guarantee that AI output is free from similarity to existing works; you must review before publishing.

Payment

25% after proposal approval, 50% when the reviewed draft is ready, and the remaining 25% before final files. Payments are in INR via Razorpay. The final payable total is stated in your proposal.

Cancellation & refunds

You may cancel and receive a 100% refund of all amounts paid at any time before final files are delivered. See the Refund Policy.

Delivery estimates

Timelines are agreed in your proposal and depend on timely feedback. We will tell you about any changes.

Customer responsiveness

If you do not respond to outline or review requests for 30 days, the project may be paused. We will contact you before closing it.

Revisions

Revision rounds are as per your package. Eligible corrections are included within those rounds and the agreed scope. Extra manuscript revision round: ₹1,000; extra cover redesign: ₹500, only with your approval. Our own errors or misses against the agreed specification are corrected at no charge and do not use your rounds.

Amazon KDP

Essential and Standard do not include KDP support. Premium includes an account-creation guidance call only. Author Pro includes account guidance, file preparation and guided publishing assistance. You control your KDP account and perform account actions and submission yourself. We never ask for your passwords or bank/tax credentials. Amazon's publishing and printing costs are separate from our fees.

Confidentiality

We keep your project details confidential. We show your book publicly only with your written permission.

No guarantee of sales

We do not guarantee Amazon approval, sales, rankings or bestseller status.

Limitation of liability

Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order in question.

Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
